GPS jamming in Morocco today

Background

We found no statement from Morocco's airports office, ONDA, or its civil aviation authority on GPS jamming or spoofing. IATA's regional analysis of in-flight interference, presented in November 2024, included the Casablanca flight region in its scope, but the slides give no finding for it (IATA, November 2024). Casablanca does not appear in EASA's tables of impacted regions dated 14 October 2026 (EASA, October 2026).

Morocco is among the 54 states behind a 2022 African paper to ICAO on interference, which names no Moroccan case (ICAO A41-WP/304, 2022). This page uses the Natural Earth outline, which draws Western Sahara separately, so hexagons there are not counted; that is a data choice, not a position on its status.
